Why do I often have headaches, nausea and fatigue?

Headache, nausea and fatigue are common symptoms. In our traditional concept, headache is related to a person’s thoughts and is a manifestation of qi and blood rushing to the head. The first is the common migraine, which has a very high incidence rate, with the incidence rate in women being twice that of men. The main characteristics are lateralization, pulsation, moderate to severe severity, aggravated by activity, and often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, photophobia, and sound fear. If we find that we meet two of these symptoms, we need to see a doctor.

The second type is tension-type headache, which affects 10.8% of the population in a year. The pain is characterized by being bilateral, non-pulsating, not aggravated by activity, and generally mild to moderate in severity. Patients often have a bloating pain like a hoop, accompanied by muscle spasms in the head, but not nausea or vomiting.

The third type is called "cluster headache". As the name suggests, the patient's headaches are very frequent and severe over a period of time, often accompanied by autonomic nervous system symptoms such as unilateral tearing and sweating. This is the most serious type of headache, mostly in men. Some patients even choose to commit suicide because they can't bear it.

Solution:

1. Lower your head less and do more exercises that require you to raise your head. It is recommended to participate in more activities such as badminton, swimming, kite flying, etc., which can help prevent headaches.

2. Make psychological adjustments and improve sleep. Studies have shown that poor sleep and emotional stress can trigger headaches.

3. Drink less coffee and cola. These drinks contain caffeine. A small amount of caffeine can relieve pain, but a large amount of caffeine can induce headaches.
