What should I do if I have lymph nodes under my armpits?

If lymph nodes grow under the armpits, patients need to go to the hospital for examination in time to rule out the possibility of malignancy, because malignant lymph nodes can be life-threatening. At the same time, it is recommended that patients must develop good living habits and actively seek treatment.

1. If the axillary lymph nodes are enlarged, you must pay attention to scientific treatment and care. Generally speaking, if the axillary lymph nodes are slightly enlarged, there is no need for special treatment. You can take some anti-inflammatory drugs or get anti-inflammatory injections to recover. At the same time, you should also develop good living habits and pay attention to emotional regulation.

2. Swollen axillary lymph nodes are most commonly caused by inflammation of tissues or organs in the lymph node drainage area, followed by lymph node metastasis of malignant tumors, and also diseases of the lymph nodes themselves, such as lymph node tuberculosis, lymphoma, etc. Therefore, after confirming that the lymph nodes are swollen, the key is to determine their cause and nature. Local swelling accompanied by obvious pain often indicates infection, while progressive painless swelling often indicates malignant tumor disease.

3. If the swollen lymph nodes under the armpit are mild, they will get better naturally after a period of time; or you can take some ordinary anti-inflammatory drugs or get some anti-inflammatory injections. However, if the swelling is severe and does not heal after long-term anti-inflammatory treatment, treatment is needed: first, to prevent it from further worsening; second, the body needs it to restore its function, exert its immune and bactericidal effects, and enhance physical fitness.

4. Develop good living habits.

5. Maintain a good attitude, stable emotions, have healthy eating habits, eat more fruits and vegetables, etc., to improve your immunity.

6. People who must work in areas with heavy oil smoke should try to protect themselves, such as wearing masks, going out regularly to breathe some fresh air, and getting a check-up at least once a year. Keep away from smoke, alcohol, drugs, radiation, pesticides, noise, volatile harmful gases, toxic and harmful heavy metals, etc.
