Causes and treatments of tinnitus caused by neurasthenia

Neurasthenia is a common clinical disease, and tinnitus caused by neurasthenia is also common, which is a complication of neurasthenia. There are many reasons for tinnitus due to neurasthenia, which is caused by high nervous tension. Treatment is also very important for tinnitus caused by neurasthenia.

1. Causes of tinnitus due to neurasthenia

Neurasthenia is a brain dysfunction disease, mainly caused by long-term mental tension, excessive psychological pressure or excessive physical exhaustion. It is one of the common mental disorders in modern society. When patients with neurasthenia suffer from the disease, their various analytical organs become hyperexcited, often manifested in symptoms such as insomnia, nightmares, dizziness, and brain swelling. In fact, this hyperexcitement can manifest itself in various aspects of the human body. If it manifests itself in this aspect of the audio analyzer, tinnitus will occur.

2. The harm of neurasthenia and tinnitus

Patients with neurasthenia and tinnitus can hear sounds in their own ears that do not exist in the outside world. The sounds may be strong or weak, far or near, present or absent, and start or stop. In the dead of night, the inexplicable sounds will become more obvious. Sometimes it makes people irritable and restless, and even causes insomnia all night, affecting their daily life and work. Many patients believe that tinnitus caused by neurasthenia will develop into deafness, which leads to psychological panic. In fact, this worry is unnecessary. From the cause of the disease, we can know that the tinnitus that occurs in patients with neurasthenia is only a symptom, and their auditory analysis organs have not undergone organopathological changes, so deafness will not occur.

3. Treatment of tinnitus caused by neurasthenia

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that tinnitus can be divided into real and false. The real one is caused by liver fire, and the false one is caused by kidney deficiency. Neurasthenia and tinnitus are mostly caused by excessive liver fire. Treatment with "Longdan Xiegan Decoction" which can relieve liver fire is very effective in eliminating tinnitus. Modified Longdan Xiegan Decoction: 15 grams of gentian, 10 grams of gardenia, 10 grams of scutellaria, 10 grams of bupleurum, 10 grams of akebia, 10 grams of oriental water plantain, 6 grams of cicada shell, 12 grams of white peony root, 15 grams of cyperus rotundus, and 3 grams of licorice. Take one dose daily, decocted in water and taken in three doses. Generally, three doses are effective, and patients can choose to take it under the guidance of a doctor.
