Why is there neuralgia in the right chest

There are many reasons for right chest nerve pain, the most common ones include muscle strain or some heart disease, which can also cause these pains. Right chest pain may also be related to some liver diseases, so it is important to pay attention to the examination.

1. Muscle strain. If we expand our chest excessively, stretch our arms to pick up objects from high places, carry heavy objects, or are hit by external forces, it may cause damage to the pectoralis major and intercostal muscles, thereby causing pain. This degree of pain is generally mild, so you don't need to be too nervous, just pay attention to rest.

2. Heart disease. Heart disease can cause right chest pain, which is usually unrelated to breathing movements. The pain does not come on suddenly or stop suddenly, and does not last for just a few seconds. The pain is dull or colic, squeezing pain, rather than sharp pain.

3. Related to liver disease. Because clinically many hepatitis B patients experience pain in the right chest, which usually indicates that the liver is severely damaged. Hepatitis B patients should take the phenomenon of right chest pain seriously. The most important organ in the right chest is the liver. Pain in the right chest indicates that the liver has begun to be damaged.

4. Intercostal neuralgia. Intercostal neuralgia is not common, but it sometimes occurs. When you are particularly tired or sleep too deeply, one posture may put pressure on a certain rib for too long. Leaving the window open when sleeping will cause one of the intercostal muscles to get cold. When doing a certain movement, the intercostal muscles are stretched and injured, which can also cause chest pain.

5. Pneumothorax. Pneumothorax refers to the entry of gas into the pleural cavity, causing a state of gas accumulation, which is called pneumothorax. Pneumothorax is also one of the causes of chest pain. Factors that may cause pneumothorax include strenuous exercise, coughing, lifting heavy objects or raising the upper arms, weightlifting, straining to defecate, and blunt force trauma.

6. If you have chest pain symptoms, you should also check whether you have lung infection, pleurisy, breast hyperplasia, tuberculosis, etc. In addition, gastrointestinal ulcers and pancreatic diseases may also cause this phenomenon.
