Self-treatment gymnastics for cervical spondylosis

Cervical spondylosis is a relatively common disease. Patients should pay attention to care and health care in life, effectively improve the various discomfort symptoms caused by cervical spondylosis, choose a suitable pillow when sleeping, pay attention to keeping warm, and avoid overwork.

1. Look around. Patients with cervical spondylosis should relax their shoulders and bodies; slowly turn their heads to the right; then return to the middle position; then slowly turn to the left; repeat ten times.

2. Leaning to the left and right. Patients with cervical spondylosis should relax their shoulders and slowly turn their head to the right; then slowly return their head to the middle position; then turn their head to the left; repeat the above movements ten times.

3. Bend forward and stretch backward. Patients with cervical spondylosis should relax their shoulders and slowly bend their heads forward; then slowly return their heads to the middle position; then slowly bend their heads forward again and return to the middle position; repeat the above movements ten times.

4. Around the neck. Place your feet at the same distance as your shoulders; place your hands on your waist or let them hang naturally, keep your head and neck relaxed, and slowly turn your head with a larger amplitude. Then, turn your head alternately clockwise and counterclockwise; repeat eight times. When doing this movement, be careful not to let your body move with your head.

5. Look back at the moon. Get into a half-squat position, put your left hand behind your head, your right hand behind your waist, and rotate your head backward and upward as if looking back at the moon. Pause for five seconds. Switch hands and directions and repeat five times on each side.
