Does LED eye protection lamp really protect eyes?

Does LED eye protection lamp really protect eyes?

At present, there is a kind of LED eye protection lamp on the market that can protect our eyesight, but according to the advice of experts, the effect of LED eye protection lamp is not very good. Well, it's magical. It just weakens the light exposure to the eyes and cannot fundamentally solve the problems of myopia and hyperopia. To protect the eyes, we should deal with it through a reasonable diet. So, do LED lights really protect your eyes?

1. The force of eye protection lamp

Nowadays, people generally choose table lamps when reading and writing, and table lamps are an indispensable lighting tool in modern families. It mainly concentrates the light in a small area, making it easier to work and study. According to statistics, Chinese students spend an average of 2-3 hours a day under a desk lamp, and the distance between the brain and the desk lamp is generally only 30-40 cm. However, a test report by the World Health Organization states that the radiation value of high-frequency eye protection lamps is 40UT-400UT.

This value is much higher than the national standard of 0.12UT. This means that children are exposed to excessive radiation at close range for up to 3 hours every day, which adds up to nearly 1,000 hours a year. Experts particularly pointed out that the brains of teenagers have not yet matured, and this will lead to intellectual impairment in the long run. However, because primary and secondary school students in my country have too much homework and write at close range for a long time, it aggravates eye fatigue and causes vision loss. According to statistics, 66% of primary and secondary school students in my country suffer from varying degrees of myopia, so if we want to protect our eyesight, what kind of desk lamp should we choose is the first problem we have to face.

2. Judging the quality of eye protection lamp

The first factor is illumination, which requires that the brightness of the light source should be moderate, neither too bright nor too dark.

The second factor is color. The most important thing about color is its clarity. It is best to be close to sunlight so that we can see objects more clearly.

The third is stroboscopic, because when the light source is driven, it flickers. If this flicker is too frequent, it will cause fatigue and damage to the human eyeball, pupil and muscle.

The fourth factor is ultraviolet rays, because the stronger the ultraviolet rays, the greater the damage to the human eyes. ”
