Low platelets and high urine protein, what's going on

Nowadays, many people have low platelets and high blood protein, but because they have no medical knowledge and no understanding of this aspect, many people do not know what is going on when this happens. So what's going on with low platelets and high urine protein?

High platelet count can easily lead to aggregation and cause blood clots. The high platelet count is due to high platelet count. Normal people will also have very small amounts of protein in their urine, which cannot be detected by general methods. Quantitative urine protein test: measures the total amount of protein in the urine over 24 hours. The normal range is 20-80mg/24 hours. A level greater than 150mg/24 hours is proteinuria.

Proteinuria classification:

1. Physiological proteinuria such as: strenuous exercise, emotional excitement, cold, high temperature environment, fever, etc.

2. Glomerular proteinuria such as acute glomerulonephritis, rapidly progressive nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus nephropathy, etc.

3. Renal tubular proteinuria such as pyelonephritis, toxic nephropathy (heavy metals, antibiotics such as gentakanasulfonamide)

4. Mixed proteinuria such as chronic nephritis, chronic pyelonephritis, toxic nephropathy, systemic lupus erythematosus nephritis, and other late-stage chronic kidney diseases.

Guidance: High blood cell count is sometimes caused by high blood viscosity, so you can drink more water recently, and then recheck a blood test. It is best to recheck urine, as errors may occur due to problems with the machine and testing technology. If there is still protein in the urine, you can check the total amount of urine protein for 24 hours to determine the cause of the urine protein.

There are too many causes of thrombocytopenia, such as insufficient platelet production in the bone marrow, leukemia, aplastic anemia, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, alcoholism, megaloblastic anemia, certain bone marrow diseases, etc., so you must go to the hospital to check the cause first before you can treat it accordingly. of,
