Blood dryness is relatively unfamiliar to most people. Let's take a look at the symptoms of blood dryness that require high attention. 1. Definition of blood dryness To be precise, it is blood deficiency and wind dryness. Aliases (in traditional Chinese medicine): wind-heat sores, psoriasis, white malaria, snake psoriasis, wind pruritus, white scaly wind, (in Western medicine): pityriasis rosea, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, ichthyosis, senile pruritus, seborrheic dermatitis, progressive symmetrical erythematokeratosis, erythroderma. TCM explanation: This syndrome is caused by heat in the blood and dryness in the wind, a long course of illness, depletion of yin blood, which turns into blood deficiency, wind dryness, and external invasion of wind evil. Blood deficiency and wind dryness: actually, they are two dialectical terms in traditional Chinese medicine: blood deficiency and wind dryness. Blood deficiency refers to a pathological condition of weakness caused by insufficient nutritional intake. Excessive blood loss or chronic bleeding, organ damage, decreased or impaired function of transforming essence and blood can all cause blood deficiency and anemia symptoms. 2. Classification of blood dryness Clinically, it is generally divided into symptoms such as heart blood deficiency, liver blood deficiency, and heart and spleen deficiency.
