What are mites

Mites are actually tiny animals that are closely related to human health. They can seriously endanger human health and cause allergies, scabies, or urinary tract mites. Therefore, they should be treated scientifically and pay attention to hygiene.

1. Mites are a type of tiny animals belonging to the Arachnida class, Arthropoda subclass, with a body size generally around 0.5 mm, some as small as 0.1 mm, and most species are smaller than 1 mm. Mites and spiders belong to the same order Arachnida. Adult mites have four pairs of legs, a pair of antennae, no wings or antennae, and their body structure is different from that of insects. The insect body is divided into maxilla and body. The maxilla is composed of mouthparts and maxilla base, and the body is divided into podia and endosoma. There are many hairs on the body and feet of the mite, some of which are very long. It has a mouthpart at the front and feeds on a variety of foods, such as dandruff.

2. More than 50,000 species of mites have been discovered in the world, second only to insects. Many types are related to medicine. It has been discovered that mites are closely related to human health. Mites such as gamasid mites, chiggers, scabies, demodectes, flour mites, dust mites and caterpillar mites can bite people to suck blood, invade the skin, cause "rosacea" or demodectic disease, allergies, urinary tract mites, pulmonary mites, intestinal mites and scabies, which seriously endanger human health.

3. Treatment experience

1. If the condition is more serious and there is wound damage and infection, injection treatment should be chosen. Most veterinarians now use ivermectin or doramectin, which are similar drugs, but the latter is a newer generation. Ivermectin is injected every three days, and doramectin is injected once a week. Their side effect is that there is a chance of affecting the quality of fertility, so it is best to wait six months after the injection before having children. If there is infection, antibiotics can be injected, taken orally, or applied topically.

2. If the condition is not too serious, please use dimethoate emulsion - a drug originally developed for pigs and cattle, but can also be used on cats and dogs. This medicine has an irritating and unpleasant smell and has certain side effects. Improper use may cause poisoning. It’s also very cheap

Coal tar - Using coal tar is a very effective folk method. You can buy a coal tar lotion called "Zeta" in major pharmacies. This medicine is originally used to treat seborrheic dermatitis (more effective than any shampoo to remove dandruff)
