Generally, use a knife to gently cut a line on the back of the shrimp, and then use a toothpick to pick out the sand line.

To remove the shrimp thread from cooked prawns: find the second to last section of the prawn, pick it up with a toothpick, and then use the toothpick to remove the shrimp thread from the second section of the prawn.

In addition to the shrimp thread, the sandbag inside the shrimp head is also inedible. So how do you remove the sandbag from prawns?

First of all, we need to know where the sandbag is located. The sandbag is at the root of the longest and thickest thorn of the shrimp.
