What to do in the late stage of procrastination

Procrastination is a postponing behavior. Although procrastination is not a disease, it has a huge impact on people's lives. The late stage of procrastination is also a very serious procrastination behavior. When it comes to the late stage of procrastination, the patient's own willpower is very important.

1. Classification

First, learn to categorize the things you have on hand. Divide all tasks into four categories: urgent and important, important but not urgent, urgent but not important, and neither urgent nor important, and complete them in that order. You can put a small whiteboard or a piece of paper on your desk or table and write down what you need to do on it to achieve the best reminder effect.

2. Segment your goals

Second, segment your goals. Can the Great Wall be repaired? Of course! As long as you are willing to build it brick by brick. The things you should do are always waiting there. Since you have to do them sooner or later, learn to "gnaw" at them bit by bit.

3. Eliminate distractions

Again, eliminate distractions. “Out of sight, out of mind”, turn off WeChat, turn off the music, turn off the TV… turn off everything that will affect your work efficiency, and do your work with all your heart.

4. Attention

When people work in one go, they can maintain their concentration to the maximum extent and make good use of this time to tackle the most difficult and important parts.

5. Have fun

Then, entertain yourself. Pleasure comes from rewards, which can be divided into material and spiritual rewards. If there are huge benefits and rewards behind the work, I believe you will be motivated to do it, but when you cannot control the external rewards, you must learn to "entertain yourself", discover the benefits and fun of the thing itself, and turn endurance into enjoyment.
