What are the symptoms of procrastination?

Procrastination is very common in today's society. There are many manifestations of procrastination, including procrastination in work, sleep, and even in life. Procrastination not only causes delays, but also often leads to low self-esteem and lack of confidence. These are all symptoms of procrastination, which also includes laziness.

1. Lack of self-confidence:

Some staff members always have to face difficulties of one kind or another in their work, and it is inevitable that they will encounter major setbacks at work. Those who are not confident in themselves will have a strong escape mentality, thinking that they are not capable enough, and want to get rid of things when they encounter problems. They will not face them if they can avoid it, and they cannot handle their work well at all, and they will procrastinate when problems arise. In fact, the main reason is that I didn’t work hard enough;

2. Just want to not do:

Some people are ambitious and full of fantasies about work tasks and work plans. They can talk about them endlessly, but they are reluctant to put them into practice. Thinking and doing are never on the same level. Such people can be regarded as procrastinators.

3. Laziness:

I always feel that work is very difficult, and I always tell myself that I can't handle it. Deep down, I am unwilling to take the initiative to deal with my work actively. I am lazy and decadent at work, and I feel that everything I do is difficult.

4. Timidity:

Being timid, being afraid to deal with problems, being clumsy in doing things, not being completely sure about one's work, and being afraid of affecting work and causing trouble for others every time one does something...all kinds of worries eventually delay work. When being urged or criticized by superiors or colleagues, people will feel more anxious and more afraid of making mistakes at work, so they want to escape more and more, which leads to more and more serious procrastination.

5. Lack of motivation:

People who just do their job day by day lack motivation at work and are unwilling to put in a lot of effort to do things. They feel that they are just doing useless work. Whenever they are assigned a task, they can't help but feel disgusted, so they delay it as much as possible and postpone it as much as possible.

6. Poor execution:

The work tasks assigned by the leader are always not carried out, and are delayed again and again. When they really cannot be delayed any longer, I just deal with them casually.
