1. Massage along the meridians: The patient lies prone, and the doctor stands on one side. First, use rolling and massaging methods to move back and forth along the bladder meridians on both sides for 3 to 5 times, using force from light to heavy. Then use the thumbs of both hands to massage the Shenshu, Yaoyangguan, Dachangshu, Baliao and other acupoints until you feel soreness and swelling, and cooperate with the passive exercise of extending the waist backward several times.

2. Antispasmodic and analgesic method: The doctor uses point pressure and plucking techniques to apply to the painful points and muscle spasms, repeatedly 3 to 5 times, in order to achieve the purpose of raising the pain threshold, loosening adhesions, relieving spasms and relieving pain.

3. Adjust joint disorder: The patient lies on his side, and the doctor stands facing the patient and applies oblique lumbar manipulation, once on each side. The patient then lies on his back with both knees and hips flexed. The doctor holds the patient's knees and rotates the lumbar spine, 8 to 10 times clockwise and counterclockwise, and then holds the knees and rolls the waist 16 to 20 times to adjust the lumbar joint.

4. Finishing technique: The patient lies prone, and the doctor first uses rolling and kneading methods on the waist, buttocks and posterior and lateral sides of the thighs, back and forth 3 to 5 times, and presses the Zhibian, Weizhong, Chengshan and other acupoints. Then use the hypothenar to rub the bladder meridian on both sides of the waist and back, and rub the lumbar sacral area horizontally, until heat is penetrated. Finally, put five fingers together, relax the wrists, and rhythmically tap the bladder meridian of the waist, back and lower limbs, using force from light to heavy, to the degree that the patient can tolerate.

5. Auxiliary treatment: functional exercise, strengthening the waist and back extensor exercises, such as supine arch bridge exercise and prone swallow exercise, once in the morning and evening, 20 to 30 times each time. It is beneficial to the recovery of waist and back muscle strength.
