How to regulate the stomach

How to regulate the stomach

Nowadays, material living conditions have improved and people's diets are becoming more and more abundant, but more and more people have gastrointestinal problems. Even if they are not caused by disease, this function has been greatly affected. If you have a bad stomach, it is very important to regulate your stomach. Simply using medication cannot achieve the best effect and may even irritate the stomach and intestines and have the opposite effect. So, how can we regulate our stomach and intestines? Let’s take a look below.

1. Don’t take medicine indiscriminately if you have a bad stomach.

It is not recommended to take medicine for non-acute gastrointestinal problems, because long-term use of medicine has side effects. Poor gastrointestinal health is a chronic condition and cannot be cured in a short period of time. The best way to cure the disease is to "nourish" it. It cannot be rushed and mainly depends on improving the condition by modifying living habits.

2. Set a diet schedule and eat three meals at regular times and in fixed quantities

Start with your daily routine. Eat three meals a day at regular times and in regular quantities. Set a schedule for yourself and stick to it strictly. This will also affect sleep time, because some people who go to bed late and get up late eat breakfast and lunch together. This habit must be changed. It does not mean that eating a midnight snack can make up for it. Three times a day is the result of millions of years of human evolution. How can it be changed at will?

3. Food should be soft and loose

Generally speaking, people with poor gastric digestion function will feel full after eating a little, and will feel bloated if they eat a little more. Especially if they eat more at night, the bloating in the stomach will affect their sleep. Hard, fibrous things are difficult to digest.

Therefore, it is recommended to eat small meals frequently. If it is not time for a main meal yet, you can supplement some food, but not too much. You must remember that this is not a main meal and you still have to eat your main meal as normal. The food should be soft and loose. It is not advisable to eat too much tough and refreshing food because these things are the most difficult to digest. It is best to drink soup before meals, as drinking it after meals will increase digestion difficulties.

4. Quit stimulating foods

People with poor stomachs should quit smoking, drinking, coffee, strong tea, carbonated drinks (cola, Sprite), spicy and sour foods, and other irritating foods, as these are the most harmful to the stomach. The stomach likes dryness and hates coldness, so cold drinks and ice cream must be avoided, and warm food is best.

There are two kinds of drinks that you should drink more of, one is milk, and the other is warm water. Milk can form a protective film for the stomach. It is best to drink a glass of milk first thing in the morning before eating.

5. Eat some toasted buns to nourish your stomach

There are many black spots in the baked steamed buns, which are charcoal formed by excessive heating of starch. These tiny charcoal particles are full of gaps. After people eat them, they can absorb a large amount of water, gas, stomach acid, bacteria and toxins in the stomach and intestines, and finally be excreted from the body.

In this way, people with excessive stomach acid will feel comfortable after eating toasted buns because the excess stomach acid is absorbed; people with bloating will feel relaxed because the excess gas in the intestines is partially absorbed; people with diarrhea due to indigestion will have their symptoms alleviated or recover because the harmful bacteria and toxins are absorbed; people with watery diarrhea due to indigestion will have their symptoms alleviated or recover because the excess water is absorbed.
