Can malignant melanoma be transmitted to others?

With the popularity of If You Are the One 2, "melanoma" has also become a hot topic. People are beginning to gradually understand malignant melanoma when they knew nothing about it. However, many people still ask, is malignant melanoma contagious?

Experts point out that malignant melanoma is a tumor produced by melanocytes in the skin and other organs. Primary melanoma is caused by the proliferation of melanocytes in the epidermis, which manifests as a densely pigmented nodule that gradually increases and may be surrounded by a red halo. Although its incidence is lower than that of basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, it is more malignant, metastasizes early, and has a high mortality rate, so early diagnosis and early treatment are very important. Except for cases of secondary canceration caused by giant congenital nevus, which are more common in children, malignant melanoma mostly occurs.

Most malignant melanomas occur due to repeated friction, scratching and damage to melanin nevus, which causes malignant transformation. Improper excavation and drug corrosion can transform benign melanin nevus into malignant melanoma. Women during pregnancy or childbearing age can develop malignant melanoma rapidly, suggesting that the disease is related to endocrine. In terms of age, it mostly occurs in middle-aged and elderly people, and very few occur before puberty. It is reported that 84% of malignant melanomas come from benign nevus. According to the Wieeio report, because the nevus is too small, many patients do not notice it in the early stage of the disease. Some people believe that benign nevus is the biggest source of malignant melanoma. Experts point out that malignant melanoma is a low-grade malignant tumor of the skin, which requires surgery + radiotherapy and chemotherapy or cell immunotherapy. It only has genetic factors and is not contagious.

Cellular immunotherapy is the fourth type of cancer treatment method developed after surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. It uses and stimulates the body's immune response to fight, inhibit and kill cancer cells. Different from traditional treatment methods, cellular immunotherapy mainly mobilizes the body's natural anti-cancer ability and restores the balance of the body's internal environment, which is equivalent to "strengthening the body's health and harmonizing yin and yang" in traditional Chinese medicine. It is very effective in treating malignant melanoma.
