How is testicular cancer staged? Three stages

Testicular cancer can be staged according to the severity of the disease. Stage I is localized, stage II is metastatic, and stage III is the advanced stage of testicular cancer with lymph node metastasis.

1. Testicular cancer stage I : Stage I testicular cancer lesions are confined to the testicles and epididymis. They have not broken through the capsule, invaded the spermatic cord, or caused lymph node metastasis.
2. Testicular cancer stage II Physical examination and X-ray examination of testicular cancer in stage II have confirmed metastasis, which can spread to the spermatic cord, scrotum, and iliac inguinal lymph nodes, but not beyond the retroperitoneal lymph node area. Only metastatic lymph nodes can be found through examination, but they cannot be felt for the time being, indicating that it is in stage IIa. If metastatic lymph nodes can be felt, it means that the disease is in stage IIb.
3. Testicular cancer stage III <br/>Testicular cancer has reached an advanced stage and usually metastasizes to the lymph nodes above the diaphragm or even to distant metastases.
