What are the sequelae of testicular cancer? There are three types

Testicular cancer affects spermatogenesis, leading to reproductive dysfunction and infertility in severe cases. Anemia may also occur after chemotherapy, and if lymphatic tissue is damaged during surgery, it will cause lower limb edema.

1. Fertility disorders
Testicular cancer has a great impact on the body's hormone secretion, causing sperm quality to decline and the number to decrease significantly. It can even affect spermatogenesis and cause fertility impairment. Surgical removal of one testicle or postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy can also affect spermatogenesis, and in severe cases can lead to infertility.
2. Anemia
Testicular cancer causes a significant decrease in the body's immunity and an increase in nutrient consumption. If chemotherapy is required, anemia may occur, which manifests as physical fatigue, dizziness, and sometimes pale complexion and chills.
3. Lower limb edema
Testicular cancer usually requires surgery to remove the tumor. If the lymphatic tissue is accidentally damaged, it will cause lower limb edema. If not treated in time, it may cause more serious damage to the lymphatic tissue.
