When performing surgical resection, the first is radical resection, which mainly refers to the surgical method of removing the primary site of the patient's gastric antral cancer, part of its tissues and its corresponding regional lymph nodes.
The second is palliative resection, which mainly refers to a surgical method for patients who cannot be cured by radical resection. Another surgical treatment method is short-circuit treatment. If antral cancer cannot be removed and there is pyloric obstruction, this method can enable the patient to eat to improve his nutritional status and create conditions for receiving other drug treatments.
