How to prevent calf muscle pain?

1. Muscle relaxation

For example, after exercise, you can lie on a sponge pad or rattan mat to rest for a while. When lying flat, the position of your feet should be slightly higher than your head or at the same height as your head, so that you can effectively relax your leg muscles. 2. Massage

Usually, massage techniques mainly include shaking, acupressure, kneading, tapping, and rubbing. First, shake the limbs. The main purpose of this is to relax the muscles in the elbows, knees, limbs and other parts. The upper limbs are often best treated with acupressure massage, which can relieve discomfort such as soreness in the arms and elbows.

As for the legs, it is best to use the kneading and tapping method, first massaging the large muscles and then the small muscles. This also has a good relaxing effect on the leg muscles, thereby effectively relieving lower limb fatigue.

3. Exercise time

Experts especially remind you to pay attention to time control when exercising. It does not mean that the longer the exercise time, the more beneficial it is to your health. In fact, the opposite is true. If you exercise excessively, you may experience symptoms such as muscle soreness, and it may even affect your health. In a word, exercise must be arranged reasonably. Especially for people who have just started exercising, they should pay more attention to preventive measures for their calf muscles.

After a period of persistent exercise, your muscles have gradually adapted to the amount of exercise you do, so muscle soreness symptoms rarely occur again. However, you should also pay attention to the control of exercise time and amount to avoid harming your body.

4. Hot compress

Whether it is calf muscle soreness or muscle soreness in other parts of the body, local hot compresses can be used to effectively relieve the discomfort. In addition to local hot compresses, you can also apply medication to relieve muscle discomfort. At the same time, you should also pay attention to resting more after exercise to avoid making muscle soreness symptoms worse.
