Common knowledge about auxiliary examinations for kidney cancer

Kidney cancer is a common disease in life, but it is also a difficult disease to treat, which deeply troubles people. How is kidney cancer diagnosed clinically? How is it diagnosed? Let's learn some common knowledge about kidney cancer.

The most commonly used technology in medicine now is B-ultrasound examination, which has been widely used in the diagnosis of diseases. Many asymptomatic renal cancers can be discovered through B-ultrasound. Since this examination has a high sensitivity in detecting renal cancer, it can be used as the preferred examination method. Among them, the mass-like echo in the renal parenchyma is a direct sign of ultrasound diagnosis of renal cancer. It can not only detect space-occupying lesions in the kidney, but also help to distinguish solid, cystic and cystic-solid tumors. However, since some renal cancers are close to normal kidney tissues on B-ultrasound images, they are not easy to distinguish. Therefore, once B-ultrasound finds the possibility of abnormal kidney space-occupying, it is best to further undergo bilateral kidney enhanced CT scan to show the range of the lesion and whether the adjacent organs are involved. In addition, if the patient is allergic to enhanced contrast agents, MRI (nuclear magnetic resonance imaging) examination can be used to better understand the involvement of the renal vein or inferior vena cava and the invasion of surrounding organs.
Common knowledge about kidney cancer is something that patients must know. Diseases are inevitable in people's lives, so it is helpful for patients to understand it before the disease occurs. I wish all kidney cancer patients a speedy recovery.
