Is the herpes simplex virus type scary? The herpes simplex virus you must know

Herpes simplex is a medical term that people often hear in daily life, but many people do not understand what the herpes simplex virus is and whether it is scary. As a result, they often miss the best time to treat the herpes simplex virus and cause serious harm to the body. In fact, the herpes simplex virus is a very scary virus, so don't ignore it.

Herpes simplex is a viral skin disease caused by herpes simplex virus infection. The rash is characterized by clustered small blisters and can cause infection in many parts of the body, but it is more common around the mouth, nasal cavity, genitals, etc. The disease is self-limited but can recur.

The DNA virus of the pathogen, herpes simplex virus, can be divided into simplex type and HSV type. Humans are the only natural host of herpes simplex virus. The virus enters the human body through the skin and through mucosal damage, and can hide in local sensory ganglia.

90% of primary infections are latent, and about 10% show clinical manifestations. More than half of the normal population are HSV carriers, and can become sources of infection by excreting the virus through oral, nasal secretions and feces. HSV does not produce permanent immunity. Therefore, when the body's resistance is reduced due to various reasons, latent HSV in the body, that is, active herpes simplex patients with recurrent attacks, may have cellular immune deficiency.

HSV-I mainly causes infection of the skin, mucous membranes and organs outside the genitals, while HSV-II mainly causes infection of the skin, mucous membranes and newborns in the genital area. There is cross immunity between the two.

The above is an introduction to the causes of herpes simplex. If we want to better understand the disease, we must start with the causes of the disease. We believe that we can all stay away from diseases through our own efforts. Only when we live a better life can we be happier. So staying away from disease has become the criterion of whether people are happy.
