What to do if eyebrows turn white? 7 ways to restore your eyebrows to black

Whitening of eyebrows is a sign of vitiligo, so if you want to restore the white eyebrows to black, you must treat vitiligo. Only by doing this can the problem of graying eyebrows be fundamentally solved. Let’s take a look at some treatments for vitiligo!

1. Photochemotherapy (PUVA) 8-methoxypsoralen, vitiligo lotion, vitiligo ointment, etc. Apply the medicine to the white spots, expose to sunlight or long-wave ultraviolet rays after 1 hour, once a day or every other day.

2. Oral 8-MOP is suitable for patients with a wide range of leukoplakia. Take 10 to 20 mg daily, divided into 2 doses after meals, and expose to sunlight and long-wave ultraviolet rays (UVA) 2 hours after taking the medicine. Side effects of the drug: loss of appetite, anemia, leukopenia and toxic hepatitis.

3. Immunosuppressive therapy Corticosteroids have a certain effect on vitiligo and can be taken orally, applied topically or injected locally. In view of the immune pathogenesis of vitiligo, immunomodulators such as transfer factor can be tried by intramuscular injection or oral administration. For topical use: ① Apply corticosteroid cream or solution to the white spots, such as triamcinolone cream, clofosinate cream, enfu cream, cisplatin cream, and new cisplatin cream, which have better effects. Side effects: capillary dilation, skin atrophy, and facial white spots should be used with caution; ② Injection of triamcinolone suspension into the white spots once a week. To prevent skin atrophy, the medication should not be used more than 6 times. ③.Copper and zinc preparations.

4. Immunomodulators transfer factor, thymosin, etc.

5. Depigmentation therapy can be performed when the skin lesion area is greater than 50% and does not respond to drug treatment.

6. Concealing therapy: A concealing agent made of artificial pigments is applied to the affected area to make it closer to normal skin.

7. Surgical treatment: ① Autologous blister epidermal transplantation; ② Autologous micro-transplantation; ③ Autologous melanocyte transplantation, etc. have good effects. In short, no matter which treatment method is used, it will take 3-6 months to be effective, so you must persist in the treatment and do not give up halfway.
