Many elderly patients suffering from myocardial infarction believe that the disease is caused by a decline in their body mechanisms, but this is not the case. A large part of the causes of myocardial infarction are related to the patient's eating and living habits. As long as you know the preventive behaviors against myocardial infarction, it is very simple to prevent this disease. Even in the United States, where medicine is most advanced, at least half of the approximately 1.1 million new cases of myocardial infarction each year die within one hour of onset. About two-thirds of the patients who are lucky enough to survive cannot fully recover, and nearly half of them will develop heart failure within 6 years, seriously threatening their lives. Angina pectoris and myocardial infarction often occur in the early morning, especially in the first few minutes after waking up. You should get up slowly and not too hastily. Myocardial infarction usually occurs suddenly, often accompanied by squeezing pain in the precordial area. Patients often show symptoms of anxiety, tension, panic, and irritability. These negative emotions are extremely detrimental to the disease. Negative emotions excite the sympathetic nerves, causing the heart rate to increase, blood vessels to constrict, and blood pressure to rise, which further reduces the oxygen and blood supply to the coronary arteries and expands the area of myocardial necrosis. At the same time, it can also cause the decomposition of fat and glycogen, increase the fat content in the blood, and aggravate arteriosclerosis. Maintaining a good mental state and reducing the occurrence of complications can promote recovery from the disease. 1. Relieve pain as soon as possible. Administer pain medication as directed by your doctor. Artificial hibernation therapy is used for intractable pain, but blood pressure should be closely monitored. 2. Patients who have had the disease for 3-6 hours can undergo intravenous thrombolysis. The initial tendency should be observed and the patient's urine, stool, and prothrombin time should be tested regularly. The presence of red blood cells in the urine is often an early sign of bleeding, so notify the doctor in time. 3. Do not infuse too quickly. Depending on the condition, give 15-40 drops per minute and observe whether pulmonary edema occurs. 4. Patients with myocardial infarction should pay attention to the combination of work and rest, avoid inducing factors; take medicine on time, and always carry coronary dilating drugs with them; have regular check-ups; and adopt simple emergency measures when the condition changes suddenly. |
