Yellow urine, turbid and smelly

Yellow urine, turbid and smelly

Urine is a substance that is normally metabolized by the human body and excreted from the body. To a certain extent, urine can also indicate whether the human body is healthy and indicate some diseases that may exist in the human body. Under normal circumstances, urine is transparent or slightly yellowish in color and has no odor. If the urine is dark yellow, turbid and has an odor, you have to consider whether it is caused by body disease, prostatitis, urinary tract infection or some other problem.

1. Body lesions

Normal urine is light yellow. The urine color comes from urochrome, which is a metabolite of bile pigment. Urine color is affected by factors such as diet, medication, exercise and sweating. At the same time, some male friends have yellow and turbid urine, which may be related to the body's pathological changes. If the yellow and turbid urine persists, it is determined by the development of the disease. Therefore, eliminating the causes of the disease is the key.

2. Prostatitis

Yellow and turbid urine may be caused by prostatitis. Prostatitis refers to acute or chronic inflammation caused by specific and non-specific infection of the prostate, which causes systemic or local symptoms. It can be divided into acute prostatitis and chronic prostatitis. Among them, acute prostatitis is an acute prostatitis caused by bacterial infection.

3. Urinary tract infection

Urinary tract infection is a disease caused by bacteria invading the human body through the urethra, which may also cause yellow and turbid urine. Because women have shorter urethras and the distance from the urethral opening to the anus is closer, E. coli can easily invade the urethra and cause inflammation and infection; in men, it is mostly caused by stones, prostate hypertrophy, neurogenic bladder emptying problems, etc.

4. Other reasons

1. Frequent masturbation can easily lead to getting angry, prostatitis or urinary tract infection, and can also cause yellow urine;

2. In addition, normal fresh urine should not have a peculiar smell. Ammonia will appear due to decomposition after being left for a long time. If urine has a peculiar smell, it indicates a disease of the urinary system. For example, ammonia smell means that urine has been decomposed in the body, which is a manifestation of cystitis or urinary retention.

3. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, why does urine turn yellow and have an odor? Insufficient kidney qi and kidney deficiency can also cause yellow urine. Patients with common fever or vomiting and diarrhea symptoms will have their urine concentrated and reduced because water is excreted with sweat or feces, but the urine pigment remains unchanged, so the color of the urine appears very yellow.

4. In addition, yellow turbid pyuria is a manifestation of suppuration of the urinary organs.
