Acupoint massage is very effective in treating cervical spondylosis. If you suffer from cervical spondylosis, you can knead the Fengchi point, press the Bingfeng point, press the Tianyou point, press the Jianjing point, and press the Quchi point, which can effectively relieve the symptoms of the disease.

1. Knead Fengchi acupoint

Located below the occipital bone on both sides of the back of the neck, in the depression on the outside of the big tendons on both sides of the hairline.

Massage Methods

The person being massaged sits down, and the massager stands behind him/her. He holds the person's forehead with one hand and uses the thumb and index finger of the other hand to place the person's Fengchi acupoints, kneading for about half a minute until a local soreness and swelling is felt.

Indications

This point has the functions of calming the liver and stopping wind, dispelling wind and detoxifying, and unblocking the organ orifices. It is mostly used to treat dizziness, headache, stiff and painful neck, limited cervical movement, and fear of wind and cold caused by cervical spondylosis.

2. Press and rub the Bingfeng point

In the center of the suprascapular fossa, directly above the Tianzong point, there is a depression when you raise your arm.

Massage Methods

Sit down and use the index, middle and ring fingers of the opposite side to press and rub the Bingfeng point for 2 minutes, until you feel soreness and swelling in the shoulders and back and weakness in the upper limbs.

Massage Methods

Sit down and use the spiral surface of your thumb to massage for 3 minutes. You can do this on both sides at the same time. Use moderate force. It is best to feel obvious soreness or pain in the area.

Indications

This point has the effect of clearing the head, improving eyesight, and unblocking meridians and activating collaterals. It is mostly used to treat headaches, dizziness, and spasms and stiffness in the neck, shoulders and back caused by cervical spondylosis.
