Second: Pay attention to protecting the skin in the irradiated area. The underwear should be soft, loose and highly absorbent. Avoid wiping the skin in the irradiated area with soap and rough towels. Avoid hot and cold stimulation. Do not use hot water bottles or hot compresses locally. Wear a hat when going out in the summer to prevent direct sunlight. When going out, you should wear a hat to protect the skin in the radiation area from exposure to the sun. Do not use external cosmetics or irritating ointments, and avoid using soapy water or irritating bath gel until the skin in the radiation area returns to normal. Third: In order to prevent temporomandibular joint stiffness and dysfunction, you should persevere and do mouth opening exercises more than 300 times a day. Fourth: Eat high-protein, high-vitamin, easily digestible foods, such as lean meat, eggs, fish, vegetables, and fruits, and avoid spicy and irritating foods. Fifth: Due to the low resistance after radiotherapy, tooth extraction in a short period of time will cause bacteria to enter the blood through the gums, causing osteomyelitis and bone necrosis. Sixth: You should get enough sleep and rest, increase nutrition, keep a good mood, avoid fatigue, and at the same time appropriately increase outdoor activities, such as taking walks, visiting parks, practicing Tai Chi, doing radio gymnastics, etc., to enhance your physical fitness and improve your body's resistance to disease. |
