1. General Rules of Operating Room

2. Various items in the operating room should be placed in a quantitative and targeted manner and returned to their original places after use.

3. Operating room staff must be agile, careful, focused, and cooperative. They must strictly abide by aseptic principles and be proficient in aseptic techniques. Sterile surgery and sterile surgery must be performed in separate rooms.

4. The surgery notice should be delivered to the operating room before 10:00 a.m. the day before. Oral notification is invalid. For emergency rescue, you can first notify by phone and then supplement the notification. If special equipment or special requirements are required, they should be noted on the surgery notice. If the operation is stopped for some reason, you should be notified.

5. Operating room equipment is generally not allowed to be loaned out. In special circumstances, borrowing from other hospitals must be approved by the hospital leadership (approval from the Medical Education Office); borrowing within the hospital must be approved by the head nurse before it can be loaned out.

6. Keep all routine equipment kits and dressing kits ready at any time: such as laparotomy, thoracotomy, craniotomy, appendectomy surgery kits, mastoid surgery kits, venous incision kits, tracheotomy kits, debridement and suture kits, etc., in preparation for emergency surgery.

7. You are not allowed to leave your post without permission during working hours, and there should be someone on duty at night and on holidays.

8. The operating room should be thoroughly cleaned after each operation and disinfected for one hour after the operation and the next morning as required. A major cleaning should be done every Saturday and air, hand and dressing (sterile) cultures should be performed once a month. For special infection surgeries, they should be treated as special infections.

9. Various medical devices and large instruments are kept by designated personnel and regularly inspected to ensure their use.
