How to quickly clean the range hood

1. Pressure cooker steam flushing method. Boil cold water in the pressure cooker. When steam is continuously discharged, remove the pressure limiting valve, turn on the range hood, and aim the steam column at the rotating fan blades. As high-temperature steam continuously rushes into the fan blades and other components, the oily wastewater will flow into the waste oil cup until there is no oil in the oil cup.

2. Soaking method with detergent and vinegar. Remove the impeller and soak it in a basin of warm water mixed with 3-5 drops of detergent and 50 ml of vinegar for 10-20 minutes, then wipe it with a clean rag. The housing and other parts are also cleaned with this solution. This method does not cause damage to human skin or corrosion to devices, and the surface retains its original gloss after cleaning.

3. Apply soap solution on the surface. Make the soap into a paste and then apply it on the surface of components such as impellers. After using it for a period of time, remove the impellers and other components, wipe them with a rag, and the oil stains will come off.

1. Find a small mineral water bottle (the most common Wahaha or Robust mineral water bottle you usually see, the kind that costs less than 1 yuan a bottle in the supermarket), wash it clean, pour detergent into a quarter of the bottle, then fill it with water and shake it evenly.

2. There is a round cover on the top of the range hood. After twisting it open, you can see a water filling hole. Pour the washing water in the mineral water bottle into it (the hole is very large, and it is said that at least two bottles can be poured in), and then tighten the round cover.

3. Every few days when you feel that there is too much oil smoke, you can press the cleaning button (the cleaning button will only work when the exhaust fan is turning, and it will not work if you press it directly) to start the cleaning work. At this time, if you listen carefully, you can hear a subtle cleaning sound. The manufacturer says it will automatically clean for about 30 seconds, but the one I have is done in less than 20 seconds each time.

4. Remember to add water in time according to steps 1 and 2. The time to add water is determined as follows: the waste oil coming out of the waste oil box is a mixture of oil and washing water (the volume of the waste oil box is about the same as the volume of the water injection hole), so every time you pour out a full box of waste oil or judge that a box of waste oil has been poured out, remember to add washing water.

Generally, after entering the oil, a lot of oil stains will accumulate over a long period of time. If there are too many oil stains, it will be detrimental to the effect of the range hood, so we need to try to buy a bottle of relatively mild detergent. You can rinse it continuously by wearing rubber gloves, but when washing, be sure not to use too many sticky things.
