What to do if you get stung by a bee and it becomes red and swollen

Bees are experts at collecting honey, but sometimes they are also small killers that collect blood. Being stung by a bee does not cause itching like being bitten by a mosquito, which will go away after a while. Being stung by a bee is very painful and you dare not touch it. It will be very itchy afterwards and will not go away for a long time. Some people may even suffer from poisoning, which is life-threatening. The venom of bees is acidic. After being stung, emergency treatment must be carried out immediately with alkaline solution. If not handled properly, the skin may become necrotic. The following introduces what to do if you get redness and swelling after being stung by a bee. Let's take a look at it just in case.

In severe cases, the injured area will be red, swollen, and blisters will form, with local severe pain or itching, fever, headache, nausea and vomiting, irritability, convulsions, and coma. People with specific constitutions are allergic to bee venom and can rapidly develop symptoms of anaphylactic shock such as swelling of the face and eyelids, urticaria, laryngeal edema, abdominal pain and diarrhea, difficulty breathing, low blood pressure, and confusion, and eventually die from respiratory and circulatory failure.

The solution is as follows:

(1) Don't be nervous, stay calm.

(2) If a poisonous stinger has penetrated the skin, remove the stinger first.

(3) Use soapy water, 3% ammonia water, 5-10% sodium bicarbonate water, saline solution, or sugar water to wash the wound.

(4) Apply fresh human milk to the wound several times a day.

(5) Mash Yulu powder or chrysanthemum leaves and apply on the affected area.

(6) If you are stung by a wasp, wash it with vinegar or fresh purslane and squeeze out the juice to apply to the affected area.

(7) Crush garlic or ginger to extract juice and apply it to the affected area.

(8) Choose fresh dandelions, violet yedoensis, seven-leaf clematis, lobelia, etc., wash and mash them, and apply them around the wound. The effect is good.

(9) Apply a circle of dissolved Nantong snake medicine tablets about 2 cm away from the puncture wound. It has the effects of detoxification, pain relief and swelling reduction.

(10) Apply cucumber juice to the affected area several times a day to relieve pain and reduce swelling.

(11) Wash and mash 30 grams of leeks into a paste and apply it to the affected area.

The above is an introduction to what to do if you get red and swollen after being stung by a bee. I believe that after reading it, everyone will have a certain understanding of how to deal with bee stings. If redness and swelling have appeared, it means that the venom has entered your body and you must deal with it immediately. Do not let the venom remain in other places and cause unpredictable consequences. As long as the swelling goes away, there will be no big problem. The above method is very effective and you can try it. If it is serious, go to the hospital as soon as possible.
