How to remove oil stains from clothes

How to remove oil stains on clothes? Nowadays, in daily life, it is inevitable to get oil stains on clothes. However, this not only affects the appearance, but also can only wash the oil stains on clothes without throwing away the clothes. Although there are many ways to wash oil stains on clothes, not every one of them is useful. Some of them are even ineffective. This is the most distressing time. For this situation, I have prepared several ways to wash away oil stains for you:

1 If there are greasy stains on your clothes that have been there for a long time and you feel it is a pity to throw them away, try this method: apply butter or margarine on the stain and wash it with detergent after 30 minutes. This way, oil stains can be removed no matter how old they are.

2 If oil is accidentally dropped on clothes, keep the clothes dry before washing. Then drop some detergent on the oil spots and rub them a few times. There will be no oil stains after washing.

3 When kerosene is stained on clothes, if it is not removed in time, it will leave yellow marks, especially on white fabrics. To remove kerosene stains, sprinkle magnesium oxide powder on the stains and then remove the powder after a few days. Through the adsorption effect of the powder, the kerosene stains will disappear without leaving any traces.

4 Once tobacco oil drops onto clothes, quickly take a handful of ash and sprinkle it evenly on the clothes. After a while, when the ash is dry, remove the ash and the tobacco oil will fall off by itself. If the smoke oil on your clothes has dried and has been there for a long time, you can first soak the oil stain with clean water, and then sprinkle an appropriate amount of ash on it. After it dries, the oil stain will be removed.

5. If cigarette smoke oil has just dropped onto clothes, you should immediately rub them with gasoline. If there are still stains after rubbing, you can wipe them with 2% oxalic acid solution and then wash them with clean water.

6. If the garment is of good quality and the oil stains on it cannot be removed, we can also have it altered or replaced with another piece of clothing. In short, we should try not to waste.

How to remove oil stains from clothes? When oil stains appear on your clothes, the most important thing to do is to wash them off quickly and wear clean and tidy clothes. People who are still worried about oil stains can use the washing methods introduced above to ensure that you can get clean and tidy clothes.
