Autoimmune diseases

Autoimmune diseases

Autoimmune diseases? As people's living environment becomes more complex, their physical, mental and health are also changing. Diseases thus take advantage of the opportunity to come and affect people's health. Among them, the most common one is autoimmune disease. Many people do not know much about this disease and are afraid that their disease cannot be treated, which undermines their confidence in life. Therefore, it is recommended that everyone learn more about autoimmune diseases.

Autoimmune diseases have become more common in recent years, and many diseases are now classified as autoimmune diseases. This has caused many people to develop a fear of autoimmune diseases and be unable to face them correctly. So, let me introduce the relevant conditions of autoimmune diseases for you to believe.

Autoimmune diseases refer to diseases caused by the body's immune response to its own antigens, which leads to damage to its own tissues. Many diseases have been listed as autoimmune diseases. It is worth pointing out that the existence of autoantibodies and autoimmune diseases are not two equivalent concepts. Autoantibodies can exist in normal people without autoimmune diseases, especially the elderly, such as anti-thyroglobulin, thyroid epithelial cells, gastric parietal cells, and nuclear DNA antibodies. Sometimes, damaged or antigenically changed tissues can stimulate the production of autoantibodies. For example, in case of myocardial ischemia, necrotic myocardium can lead to the formation of anti-myocardial autoantibodies, but these antibodies have no pathogenic effect and are a secondary immune response.

Principles of treatment of autoimmune diseases:

1. Prevent and control infection by pathogens, 2. Use immunosuppressants, 3. Anti-inflammatory therapy, 4. Cytokine therapy regulation, 5. Specific antibody therapy, and 6. Oral administration of autoantigens.

The above is an introduction to autoimmune diseases. I hope it can be helpful to everyone. I would like to remind everyone that it is not a big deal to have a disease. The most important thing is to discover it in time and choose scientific treatment methods in time to treat the disease. Moreover, it is recommended that friends learn more about the disease to ensure their health.
