Heart beats too fast while running

Heart beats too fast while running

When running, the body's demand for oxygen will increase, and the burden on all aspects of the body will also continue to increase. Therefore, in order to maintain normal heartbeat and breathing, it is inevitable to increase the heart rate. According to different exercise intensities, there are standards for the heart rate range that the body can withstand. For example, as long as the heart rate does not exceed 210, it is within the range that a healthy body can withstand. At the same time, the benefits of running at different exercise intensities to the human body are also obvious.

Benefits of running

1. Running allows the cervical spine and shoulder area to fully relax

Modern people work by sitting in front of a computer every day. The fixed sitting posture can make the body rigid and cause strain and dislocation of the joints. Running in the correct posture for a long time can relax the back, which is very beneficial for cervical spondylosis and periarthritis of the shoulder.

2. Running makes your abdomen flatter

Although running cannot directly help you develop eight-pack abs, it can get rid of excess abdominal fat. For those who plan to train their abdominal muscles, running is the best fat-burning exercise (especially long-distance jogging). Only by running to lose fat can your eight-pack abs be truly revealed.

3. Running helps prevent breast cancer

Running can also help women avoid the risk of breast cancer and endometrial cancer caused by excess fat. A study conducted by scientists at the American Cancer Society's Atlanta branch showed that female testers who ran more than three hours a week had a 14% lower risk of breast cancer diagnosis than female testers who walked less than three hours a week.

4. Running can make your knee joints stronger

The latest research shows that running, a low-impact, non-confrontational sport, not only does not damage the knee joint, but is beneficial to joint health and makes the knee joint stronger.

Not suitable for runners

1. Patients with cardiovascular disease

As we all know, running is an aerobic exercise. A large amount of oxygen is consumed during running, and sugar, fat and protein are consumed to provide energy for the body. As your running speed and heart rate increase, the amount of blood pumped by the heart will increase, which will put a burden on the heart and blood vessels and increase the exercise risk for patients with cardiovascular disease.

2. Severely obese people

Severely obese people refer to those whose body fat percentage is far more than 28%. The lower limbs of obese people bear most of the body's weight and are already under great pressure. If they continue to run, it will only make the lower limb joints "worse" and easily cause knee injuries. Therefore, it is recommended that severely obese people do less or no exercises that put a lot of pressure on the joints, such as skipping rope and running, and do more exercises that put less pressure on the joints, such as swimming and brisk walking.

3. Diabetes patients

Diabetic patients should not run immediately after injecting insulin to avoid hypoglycemia. Severe diabetic patients are not suitable for running when they are not injected with insulin or have acute infection and fever. Because the patient's insulin level is low at this time, the glucose in the body cannot meet the energy supply for running, and the body will consume a large amount of fat to provide energy for exercise.
