Can black tea be boiled and drunk?

Tea has a long history in our country. Many people like to drink tea and meet friends in their spare time. It is a very elegant way of life. There are many types of tea, including black tea, green tea, oolong tea, scented tea, dark tea, etc. Each type of tea has different taste and effects, and the brewing methods of each type of tea are also different. Some people like to drink tea by brewing, while others like to drink tea by boiling. So, can black tea be boiled? What should we pay attention to when brewing tea?

Black tea can be boiled, but it is usually brewed for drinking.

1. Place a cleaning device

Before drinking black tea, no matter which method you use, you must first prepare the tea utensils, such as a kettle for boiling water, cups or teacups for holding tea, etc. At the same time, clean water is needed to clean them one by one to avoid contamination.

2. Measure tea into cups

Only put 3-5 grams of black tea per cup, or 1-2 tea bags. If brewing in a pot, add an appropriate amount of tea into the teapot and immediately pour in boiling water. The water temperature should be maintained at 90 to 100 degrees. At the same time, the teapot and teacups should be scalded with hot water. This procedure is called warming the pot (cup).

3. Boil water and make tea

When the tea is poured into the cup, pour in boiling water. If it is high-end black tea, it is better to choose a white porcelain cup so that you can see its color. Usually flush until it is 80% full. If you use a kettle, you should boil the water first and then add the tea ingredients.

If you use a pot to brew it, put in the tea leaves, add hot water, and cover the pot so that the aroma and taste of the black tea can be fully released in the hot water. Small leaves should be soaked for about 2 to 3 minutes, while larger leaves should be left to sit for 3 to 5 minutes. When the tea leaves open, sink to the bottom of the pot, and no longer roll, you can enjoy them.
