Can milk be heated directly?

Milk is a nutritious food that we all drink frequently. Just as the advertisement says, "A cup of milk a day makes Chinese people strong", people who drink milk regularly can replenish calcium and protein for the body in time, which can make the body stronger and increase the body's resistance to disease. Now the weather is getting colder, drinking cold milk will cause stomach discomfort, so, can milk be heated?

Milk, one of the oldest natural beverages, as the name suggests, is squeezed from female cows. In different countries, milk is divided into different grades. Currently, the most common ones are whole fat milk, low fat milk and skim milk. There are quite a lot of additives in milk on the market, such as high-calcium low-fat milk, which emphasizes the addition of calcium.

Can pure milk be heated?

OK. The longer the milk is heated and the higher the temperature, the more severe the loss of nutrients, mainly vitamins, among which vitamin C is lost the most, followed by lactose.

So, how to heat milk correctly? In fact, using the water bath heating method is the most appropriate. Drink a cup of milk (about 250 ml) and heat it on a gas stove, usually at 70°C for 3 minutes or 60°C for 6 minutes. Then use the microwave for about 1 minute. But be aware that heating in a microwave will result in uneven temperatures, so stir it before drinking to avoid getting scalded.

Kind reminder: Experts point out that if you can avoid heating the milk before drinking it, try not to heat it, so as to preserve the nutritional value of the milk. Especially for children, complete milk nutrition is more conducive to growth and development. Pure milk sold in shopping malls or supermarkets is generally more hygienic and does not need to be heated before drinking.

Milk can be heated. If it is bagged milk, we can soak it directly in hot water and drink it directly when the milk is hot. If it is fresh milk, it needs to be boiled for one minute before drinking. However, do not heat bagged milk directly in the microwave with the bag in it, as this may cause danger.
