What are the harms of staying up late often

Nowadays, many people are under great work pressure, and it is very easy for them to stay up late often. Although staying up late often can improve my work efficiency, many of us do not pay attention to the harm to ourselves. Some of us even play games, use mobile phones, watch TV, watch movies, etc. in the middle of the night. Such daily habits are extremely harmful to the body. So what kind of harm does it have?

1. Skin damage. Generally speaking, the skin enters its night maintenance state between 10 pm to 2 am. If you stay up late for a long time, it will disrupt the normal circulation of the human endocrine and nervous systems. Nervous system disorders can cause skin problems such as dryness, poor elasticity, and lack of luster; while endocrine disorders can cause skin problems such as acne, blackheads, chloasma, and dark spots.

Experts recommend eating more foods rich in vitamins or containing collagen, such as fruits and meat skin, at dinner. You can also eat more cool foods, such as melons, apples, millet, coix seed, etc. In addition, you should eat less spicy food for dinner and drink less alcohol. You can drink more fresh fruit juice or soy milk.

2. Decreased resistance. Among the various damages that staying up late causes to the body, the most common is that it makes people often tired, lack of energy, and reduced body resistance. For people with weak immunity, respiratory diseases such as colds and digestive tract diseases such as gastrointestinal diseases will also come to them. This is mainly because staying up late disrupts a person's normal physiological cycle, the body's normal "response" system is damaged, and the resistance will decrease accordingly.

Experts remind us that we should resist "unjustified staying up late" and establish a regular work and rest time. If you have to stay up late because of work, you should rest for a while and replenish your nutrition.

3. Decreased memory. Normally, a person's sympathetic nerves should rest at night and be active during the day to support a person's work throughout the day. However, the sympathetic nerves of those who stay up late are excited at night. As the saying goes, "tension and relaxation", the sympathetic nerves are difficult to be fully excited during the daytime the next day after staying up late. In this way, people will feel listless, dizzy, have memory loss, poor concentration, slow reaction, forgetfulness, and suffer from dizziness, headaches and other problems during the day. Over time, problems such as neurasthenia and insomnia may occur.

It is conceivable that the harm of staying up late is very harmful to ourselves. Only when we understand the relevant content about the harm of staying up late, can we pay attention to it and reduce the number of times we stay up late in the future. At the same time, we must develop good work and rest habits so that we can live a better life.
