What are the symptoms of Demodex dermatitis?

Follicularia dermatitis is a common skin inflammation, which is mainly caused by Demodex, also known as mites. It is a parasite that causes trouble to many people. Suffering from folliculitis can affect a person's physical and mental health. The disease mainly appears on the face, such as the wings of the nose, cheeks and chin, and papules will appear, all in patches. So, what are the symptoms of Demodex dermatitis? Now let me give you a detailed introduction.

Follicularia dermatitis is caused by Demodex, which mainly lives in hair follicles, grows and develops in the hair follicles. It needs to metabolize, thus causing serious damage to the tissues. It also has a lot of its own excrement and dead limbs left inside, irritating skin inflammation. Moreover, it can directly damage the skin. The trichoderma has chelicerae, and its own activities will cause some mechanical damage to the sebaceous gland cells of the hair follicles, causing the skin to lose its normal structure and function.

The common symptoms of Demodex dermatitis are generally scattered clusters of red papules or pustules ranging in size from needle tips to millet-sized, clustered in the center and scattered around. At the same time, the surface of the papules often has scales or scabs. The lesions generally do not appear individually, but occur in batches, accompanied by long-term non-healing. Accompanied by subjective itching and burning sensation, food stimulation will aggravate the damage. Patients with Demodex dermatitis may experience mild itching and sometimes pain.

When the symptoms of folliculitis first occur, the local skin is mildly flushed. Later, the erythema becomes gradually obvious and persists, spreading from the tip of the nose to the nose wings, forehead, cheeks, chin, and even to the chest, back, scalp, etc. Papules, pustules, scabs and desquamation gradually appear on the erythema. Over time, the skin of the nose thickens, the hair follicle openings dilate, and the capillaries also dilate, forming persistent erythema, which clinically manifests as rosacea or acne vulgaris. In some cases, the skin of the nose is normal, with only erythema, papules, and desquamation around the mouth or at the corners of the mouth. Some individuals may show symptoms of blepharitis or scalp desquamation.

The pathogenicity of Trichocystis depends on the host's own responsiveness, and different reactions will occur in different people. People's overall quality varies greatly, including the quality of skin type. The response to Trichocystis infection may not be exactly the same. People who react strongly may become ill, while people who do not react strongly and whose skin is not too sensitive may not have any serious problems even if they have bugs.

Patients should also pay attention to daily skin care, diet, daily life, and psychological aspects. Don't scratch just because you feel itchy, as this can easily damage the function of the skin and cause bacterial infection. Also, try to avoid contact with dust, pollen, animals and other things that are prone to allergies. Don't eat spicy and irritating foods, and eat more fruits and vegetables.
