Soy isoflavones are a very good health supplement. There are related products on the market that many girls can choose with confidence. Soy isoflavones can help remove acne. The principle is that it adjusts the girl's endocrine system to improve the surface of the skin. However, girls must use it under the advice and guidance of a doctor before carrying out relevant conditioning, and do not buy it blindly. So, can soy isoflavones remove acne? 1. Antioxidant Effect Genistein contains 5, 7, or 4 phenolic hydroxyl groups, while daidzein contains 7, or 4 phenolic hydroxyl groups. As an oxygen donor, phenolic hydroxyl can react with free radicals to generate corresponding ions or molecules, extinguish the free radicals, and terminate the chain reaction of free radicals. Soy isoflavones also have a relatively clear antioxidant effect on whole animals. Soy isoflavone extracts also have a significant inhibitory effect on the increase in peroxidation levels and the decrease in antioxidant enzyme activity in mice caused by doxorubicin. 2. Estrogen-like effects Isoflavones are typical phytoestrogens. Soy isoflavones can replace estrogen to bind to ER to exert estrogen-like effects, and can also interfere with the binding of estrogen to ER, exhibiting anti-estrogen-like effects. Whether soy isoflavones exhibit estrogenic or anti-estrogenic activity depends mainly on the hormone metabolism status of the subject itself. It exhibits anti-estrogenic activity in subjects with high estrogen levels, such as young animals, estrogenized animals, and young women; it exhibits estrogenic activity in subjects with low estrogen levels, such as young animals, ovariectomized animals, and menopausal women. The estrogen-like effect of soy isoflavones has a certain preventive and therapeutic effect on many diseases related to hormone withdrawal in elderly women, such as increased blood lipids, atherosclerosis and osteoporosis. 3. Effects of soy isoflavones on the cardiovascular system Soy isoflavone compounds can improve myocardial ischemia symptoms through different pathways, dilate blood vessels, inhibit platelet aggregation, lower blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and have anti-arrhythmic effects. In the endocrine system, isoflavone compounds mainly exhibit estrogen-like effects, and like estrogen, they have both excitatory and inhibitory effects. Some isoflavone compounds can also affect bone resorption, and are therefore beneficial for the treatment of bone diseases. 4. Anti-cancer and anti-cancer effects Epidemiological studies have shown that soybeans as the only dietary source of G (genistein) may be related to the relatively low incidence of breast cancer, colon cancer, and prostate cancer in China and Japan. The total plasma isoflavone levels of Japanese people are 7-100 times higher than those of Westerners. The main research areas are as follows: a. Inhibit enzyme and growth factor effects b. Weak estrogen and anti-estrogen effects c. Antioxidant effect d. Studies have found that G has a strong inhibitory effect on endothelial cell proliferation and angiogenesis in vitro. The inhibitory effect of G on angiogenesis suggests that isoflavones can be used as a therapeutic agent for a variety of chronic neovascular diseases. |
