What factors can cause lung cancer

Lung cancer originates from the bronchial mucosal epithelium. Cancer that occurs in the larger bronchi above the segmental bronchial openings, close to the hilum of the lung, is called central lung cancer. Central lung cancer is often squamous cell carcinoma; while those that occur in the smaller bronchi below the segmental bronchus are called peripheral lung cancer, which is often adenocarcinoma. Lung cancer is one of the common cancers of the respiratory tract. Lung cancer belongs to the category of cough, phlegm and lung accumulation in traditional Chinese medicine.

1. The occurrence of bronchial lung cancer is closely related to long-term smoking. Tobacco contains a variety of carcinogens such as benzopyrene and nitrosamines.

2. Occupational carcinogenic factors: Certain occupations involve long-term exposure to asbestos, inorganic arsenic compounds, chromium, radon, soot, ionizing radiation, and dust.

3. Air pollution. Indoor air is polluted by carcinogens produced during fuel combustion and cooking, and the atmosphere is polluted by automobile exhaust and industrial waste gas containing carcinogens such as benzopyrene.

The symptoms of some diseases are difficult to understand. For example, lung cancer is associated with the nipples.
