What medicine is more effective for frozen feet?

Many people will suffer from frozen hands and feet in winter, especially the patient's own feet, which are the most severely affected. Therefore, when it is not very cold, you must wear very thick clothes. However, serious frostbite will still occur. Once some medicines are taken, it can be well relieved. So, what medicine is more effective for frozen feet? Let us give you a brief introduction!

Frostbite is tissue damage caused by the human body being exposed to low temperatures. It is divided into two categories: one is called non-freezing frostbite, which is caused by low temperatures below 10°C to freezing point and humidity, such as frostbite and trench foot; the other is freezing frostbite, which is caused by low temperatures below freezing point, such as local frostbite and systemic frostbite.

Whole body frostbite, the patient has chills, cold limbs, and pale or cyanotic skin. When the body temperature drops, the whole body becomes numb, the limbs become weak, the person becomes drowsy, confused and eventually falls into a coma.

Precautions

1. Avoid using fire, hot water or other heating methods to reheat. Cold water baths, rubbing with snow, beating, etc. are prohibited.

2. In a warm environment, patients can be given a small amount of hot wine to promote blood circulation and dilate peripheral blood vessels. However, it is not advisable to drink alcohol in a cold environment to avoid increasing body heat loss.

3. During the acute phase of frostbite, movement of the injured limb must be avoided. Once the acute inflammation subsides, the finger (toe) joints should be moved as soon as possible to prevent joint stiffness, help restore muscle tone, and protect the flexibility of muscles and ligaments.

4. Seriously injured people should be injected with tetanus toxoid to prevent tetanus.

5. To prevent frostbite, you should insist on physical exercise, enhance your ability to resist cold, and wash your hands, face and feet with cold water frequently. In winter, you should pay attention to keeping exposed parts of your body warm and apply some oil. When standing guard on duty, you should do appropriate activities to promote blood circulation. Boil water with eggplant stalks or chili stalks and use it to wash areas prone to frostbite, or apply ginger to the skin locally to prevent frostbite.

The reason why patients suffer from frozen feet in winter is largely due to poor blood circulation in their feet. Friends who do not exercise regularly are also prone to these phenomena. In winter, friends must pay attention to keeping warm. If warming measures cannot be taken, frostbite will be more serious.
