Does ovulation pain occur during ovulation?

Generally speaking, women will not experience obvious symptoms during the ovulation period, but a few people will experience discomfort during the ovulation period. Every month, the female body goes through the ovulation process, and ovulation begins in the neonatal period. Some people say that there are always a few days in a month when they feel a little abdominal pain, while others say it is because of inflammation. It is a disease and needs to be treated. Some people say that abdominal pain is caused by ovulation. Does ovulation pain mean ovulation?

Ovulation usually occurs between two menstrual periods. Ovulation occurs as the follicle develops and matures. The follicle gradually migrates to the surface of the ovary and protrudes outward. When the follicle approaches the surface of the ovary, the surface cells become thinner and finally rupture, resulting in ovulation. The discharge of the egg cell is not an expulsion process, but the egg cell is discharged only after most of the follicular fluid has flowed out.

The cause of the rupture of mature follicles is still unclear. It is currently believed that there are some protein-dissolving enzymes, amylases, collagen-dissolving enzymes, etc. in the follicles. These enzymes can dissolve the follicle wall while maintaining the pressure in the follicular cavity unchanged. Some scholars also believe that under the action of gonadotropins, especially luteinizing hormone, mature follicles can secrete prostaglandins, which can cause the smooth muscle fibers in the interstitium surrounding the mature follicles to contract, causing the follicle to rupture. The contraction of smooth muscle fibers will cause you to feel stomach pain, and after the egg is released, it will also cause peristalsis of the fallopian tube. Ovulation is a normal physiological phenomenon. Due to individual differences, some people can feel it, some do not feel any discomfort, and some may feel lower abdominal pain. No treatment is required and the pain can be relieved on its own.

From this it seems that ovulation pain occurs during ovulation, but the pain varies from person to person. Ovulation abdominal pain is a physiological phenomenon that does not affect health or future marriage and childbearing. If it only occurs occasionally and the pain is mild without other discomfort, you can pay attention to proper rest and no treatment is needed. If the abdominal pain is severe, you can take painkillers temporarily. Just keep the genitals clean. If the amount of bleeding is heavy, you should seek medical attention in time. Just prescribe the right medicine.
