Treatment and prevention of high blood uric acid

Treatment and prevention of high blood uric acid

I believe that everyone will feel confused when they see the medical code "blood uric acid". What is high blood uric acid? What are the hazards? What should I pay attention to? These doubts will come to our mind one after another, but we know nothing about it, so when the disease comes, we are at a loss. Disease prevention should start with every little thing in daily life. Don’t wait until it’s too late to regret it. Only by learning more about prevention methods for various diseases can we live a healthy and happy life and not let our family and friends worry about our health. Next, let’s take a look at how to prevent blood uric acid!

High blood uric acid is also known as hyperuricemia! Long-term increase in uric acid can lead to the onset of gout under the influence of external factors, and uric acid crystals in various organs can easily form stones! Uric acid is a product of purine metabolism in the human body. The main product in normal human urine is urea, containing a small amount of uric acid. Under normal circumstances, there are about 1200 mg of uric acid in the body, about 600 mg is newly generated every day, and 600 mg is excreted at the same time, which is in a balanced state. However, if the body produces too much and cannot excrete it in time or the uric acid excretion mechanism degenerates, too much uric acid will be retained in the body. When the blood uric acid concentration is greater than 7 mg/dL, the body fluids will become acidic, affecting the normal function of human cells. If left untreated for a long time, it will cause gout.

In addition, being too tired or not getting enough rest can also lead to a relatively slow metabolism, causing gout. In daily life, pay attention to eating less animal offal (liver, kidney, bone marrow) and sardines, crabs, shrimps, spinach, large intestine, etc.; eat more vegetables, kelp, etc., have a low-fat diet, drink less liquor, avoid beer, and eat more fruits. The daily production and excretion of uric acid in the body are approximately equal. In terms of production, one-third comes from food, and two-thirds is synthesized by the body itself. In terms of excretion, one-third is excreted through the intestines, and two-thirds is excreted through the kidneys.

If any of the above pathways goes wrong, it will cause an increase in uric acid. Uric acid rises because it hinders the process of uric acid secretion in the blood, making it impossible to excrete uric acid. High uric acid levels can also cause other diseases. In the past decade or so, the number of patients with gout, which was relatively rare in the past, has increased. Not only are middle-aged and elderly people suffering from the disease, but there is also a trend of younger people suffering from gout, making it a common disease. The reason for this can be said to be that people eat too well and do not pay attention to self-care. Therefore, it is called "rich man's disease".

In short, the pace of life is fast, and everyone is only looking for convenience. They often just eat fast food outside, or eat instant noodles in the office. They have no time to take care of their healthy diet. They don’t realize that this kind of lifestyle is already destroying their bodies. So I have to remind everyone that the body is the capital of revolution. Only with a healthy body can you earn more money. Take care of your health, start now!
