Tips to relieve migraine

In life, many people often feel headaches. There are many reasons for headaches. If you have headaches all the time, it may be because of a tumor in your brain. In fact, when a headache occurs, you can apply a towel to your forehead, or you can massage your temples yourself. So what are some tips for relieving migraines?

1. Rub your temples

Press your temples with the middle fingers of both hands and rub them in circles. After rubbing them 7 to 8 times clockwise, rub them 7 to 8 times counterclockwise. Repeat this several times. If you persist for a few days, your migraine headache will be greatly relieved. You can also comb and massage the painful points. The patient can place the ten fingertips of both hands on the most painful part of the head and do light and quick massage like combing your hair. Comb and massage 100 times back and forth each time. Do it once in the morning, noon, and before dinner every day to relieve the pain.

2. Soak your hands in hot water

Immerse your hands in hot water for about 30 minutes to dilate the blood vessels in your hands, thereby reducing the corresponding amount of blood to the brain and achieving the purpose of relieving pain. Or you can use Chinese medicine to plug the nose. Take 15 grams each of Chuanxiong, Angelica dahurica, and roasted Polygala tenuifolia, dry them, add 7 grams of borneol, grind them into fine powder, and bottle them for later use. When a migraine occurs, wrap a small amount of powder in silk cloth and plug the right nostril. It usually relieves the pain in 15 minutes.

3. Eat foods containing magnesium

For example, walnuts, peanuts, kelp, oranges, almonds, whole grains, and various green leafy vegetables can relieve migraines.

4. Meditation

Using yoga and meditation is a new way to treat migraines. You can buy a CD of this kind, and when a migraine strikes, close your eyes and meditate for a while to the music, letting the harmonious sounds of nature make you forget the pain.

5. Wrap a towel around your head

It may seem funny, but it's a great way to treat migraines. When you feel pain, use a towel or soft cloth strip to wrap around your temples with appropriate tightness. This can inhibit blood vessel dilation and relieve pain.

6. Drink green tea

The substances in green tea are effective in relieving migraines, so you can drink green tea in moderation to overcome severe migraines.
