How to treat redness, itching and peeling on the face

It is said that spring rain is as precious as oil, which shows that the climate in spring is dry. It is also because of this that many friends always have redness, itching and peeling on their faces in spring. Generally, the condition will improve after a few days, and then a new round of peeling and itching will begin. This situation will continue over and over again, which makes patients very worried. Why do redness, itching and peeling occur on the face? How to solve this problem?

Redness, itching and peeling of the face is a mild erythematous scaly dermatitis that occurs on the face and is more common in women. It is also known as female facial recurrent dermatitis. It can also occur in men. It starts around the eyelids, gradually spreads to the cheeks, in front of the ears, and sometimes involves the entire face, causing mild localized erythema and small bran-like scales. Some may have mild swelling, and some rashes may occur on the neck and anterior cervical triangle, but not on the trunk, limbs, etc. It is more common in women aged 30 to 40, and also occurs quite frequently around the age of 20. It can also be seen in men of other ages. The disease develops suddenly and is accompanied by itching, which subsides in about a week but may recur. Repeated recurrences may cause pigmentation. The disease usually occurs in spring and autumn.

So how to treat it: wash your face after going out, do not use makeup crystals and strong alkaline soaps, and do not eat irritating foods. Use simple non-irritating fragrance cream for external use. Or apply zinc oxide, take vitamin B, C, etc. orally. Do not use hormonal drugs anymore, and be careful not to use cosmetics. You can go to the dermatology department of the hospital for allergen testing, and it would be best to do a patch test. After the diagnosis is confirmed, do not come into contact with allergens. Apply tacrolimus or pimecrolimus ointment externally, and reduce the dosage slowly. Eat a light diet and avoid spicy foods.

I believe you now have an idea of what causes redness, itching and peeling on your face and how to treat it. Here I need to remind all my friends that moisturizing the skin can effectively prevent this situation. However, moisturizing is not a simple matter.
