Comprehensive understanding of metabolic diseases

What are metabolic diseases? I believe everyone has this question. With the development of social economy, changes in people's dietary structure, reduced exercise and aging of the population have led to a rapid increase in the incidence of metabolic diseases such as diabetes, gout, hyperuricemia, dyslipidemia, obesity, and abnormal bone metabolism. These diseases seriously endanger people's health. Let us have a comprehensive understanding together.

1. Metabolic diseases are manifestations of systemic diseases in the brain

Due to the disorder of the blood-brain barrier, the brain tissue is affected by the biochemical internal environment, undergoes metabolic changes, and leads to brain dysfunction. Common causes include: diabetes, uremia, gout, hypercalcemia and liver failure, etc.

The high incidence of metabolic diseases is related to changes in our physiological functions. The first thing to decline as we enter adulthood is our metabolic function. Compared with the metabolic level in adolescence, the metabolic function of people declines significantly once they enter middle age, but we often do not realize the decline in our own metabolic function. In addition, many adverse factors in life can also lead to the occurrence of metabolic disorders, such as hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, high blood viscosity, and hypertension. These problems are important factors that induce metabolic diseases. Therefore, more than half of the causes of the high incidence of metabolic diseases are due to unhealthy lifestyles, such as unreasonable diet, smoking, alcoholism, and reduced physical activity.

2. Causes of metabolic diseases

1. Insufficient protein

Local farmers prepare their own feed to reduce costs and are unable to obtain high-quality

Protein, or replacing it with large amounts of plant protein and grain feed, causes fur animals to have insufficient protein, resulting in slow growth of young animals, reduced wool quality, reduced hide grade or thin skin, poor estrus or reduced semen quality in male animals, poor estrus in female animals, anovulation and even miscarriage and embryo absorption. Solution: By enriching the sources of animal feed and using a variety of raw materials to formulate high-protein, easily digestible feed, the goal of increasing protein content and reducing feed costs can be achieved.

2. Not enough fat

Because insufficient fat content in the feed can lead to absorption disorders of fat-soluble vitamins and induce corresponding vitamin deficiencies. Insufficient fat content can also cause poor fur gloss and messy fur, reducing the grade of the fur. Fat is also an important nutrient that is easily absorbed. It provides the body with a large amount of energy. If it is lacking, it can also induce growth retardation due to insufficient energy intake. Too high a fat content can cause diseases such as indigestion and diarrhea. Fat content must be strictly controlled to prevent the occurrence of yellow fat disease.

3. Excessive use of grain feed

Local farmers have the problem of using too much grain-based feed. Fur animals cannot digest and absorb food normally, especially if they consume large amounts of bean feed, which can easily cause digestive and metabolic diseases such as bloating. Because fur animals are carnivorous omnivores, their feed should be mainly composed of animal ingredients. Cereal feed should be used scientifically and not in large quantities, otherwise the absorption rate will be low, resulting in waste and inducing digestive tract diseases.

4. Lack of trace elements

Due to the unscientific addition of trace elements in feed, trace element deficiency usually occurs. Lack of calcium and phosphorus can lead to slow growth, softening of bones, incomplete calcification, and some may develop rickets or postpartum paralysis. Timely and reasonable supplementation of calcium and phosphorus can prevent and alleviate the symptoms of the disease. Zinc deficiency can cause scaly dandruff, cracks, and deterioration of skin quality. Lack of sulfur and copper can cause a serious deterioration in fur quality and anemia. However, the effective dose of trace elements and the toxic dose are very close, so it is difficult for general farmers to grasp the feeding amount. It is recommended to choose products from regular manufacturers and use them according to the instructions. Scientific use.

The above is some introduction about metabolic diseases. It talks about what metabolic diseases are, what the symptoms are and what causes them. I hope everyone can strengthen their understanding of them and protect our health. As long as we have a healthy and regular schedule and eating habits, I believe metabolic diseases will not come to us.
