Although it is spring now, the temperature changes greatly. In some areas, "late spring cold" still "strikes back" from time to time. Experts suggest that people should keep themselves covered in early spring, especially frail elderly people, women and patients with chronic diseases, to prevent harm from the "cold evil".

1. Neck

There is an acupuncture point on the back of the neck called "Dazhui Point". Almost all the yang meridians pass through Dazhui Point and converge here. If the Dazhui point is exposed to cold, the body's Yang energy will be blocked, which is not conducive to the circulation of Qi and blood, and even more detrimental to the blood supply to the brain. Therefore, you should wear high-necked clothes or a scarf when the temperature is low in the morning and evening. When encountering cold weather in late spring, it is best for people with weak health to wear a hat when going out to avoid catching a cold head.

2. Back

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the back is where the Du meridian passes and is yang. If the back gets cold, the yang energy will be damaged. Therefore, it is also important to keep your back warm. Experts suggest that it is more appropriate to wear a wool vest over single clothing. If you are still afraid of the heat, a windbreaker is also a good idea.

3. Lower back

The lower back refers to the area below the waist. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that "cold is a yin evil" and that cold mostly arises from the bottom. Because it is far away from the heart, the blood circulation in the lower body is worse than that in the upper body, making it more susceptible to wind and cold. Therefore, we should pay attention to keeping the lower body warm and promote blood circulation. Some people like to go barefoot at home, but even with wooden floors and carpets, the cold air in the room will still enter the lungs through the feet. Therefore, you should try to wear socks before summer, and those who are weak should wear wool slippers to protect their feet.
