If the shoes you wear are inappropriate or have hard soles, in addition to fatigue and foot pain, they can also cause adverse stimulation to the soles of your feet, leading to restlessness and even a loss of appetite.

According to Chinese medicine experts, the foot is called the "second heart" of the human body. It gathers many acupoints and meridians, and the human internal organs can find related reflex areas on the soles of the feet. Therefore, if the shoes you wear are inappropriate or the soles are hard, in addition to easy fatigue and foot pain, they will also cause adverse stimulation to the soles of your feet, leading to anxiety and even a loss of appetite.

The reflex areas of the parts responsible for appetite, digestion and absorption, such as the stomach, pancreas and duodenum, are all distributed on the inner side of the foot. When you wear a pair of ill-fitting shoes, especially high heels and slim shoes, the corresponding reflex areas of the toes and gastrointestinal tract are easily squeezed. If these parts are repeatedly subjected to adverse and malignant stimulation, symptoms such as loss of appetite and gastrointestinal dysfunction will inevitably occur. Over time, you may even become listless and lose weight, which may affect the normal functions of other internal organs.

So, how can we choose the right shoes? First of all, a shoe heel of 2 to 3 cm can make the arch of the foot more reasonable. Secondly, the shoe size should be appropriate. The toes can be slightly bent at the toe box, and there is a space for the toes to move. The front and waist of the shoe should be sturdy to avoid shaking left and right. Finally, the materials used for the shoes should be breathable and comfortable. In addition, it is best to buy shoes at around three or four in the afternoon, when the feet will be more swollen. The shoes chosen at this time will not squeeze the feet when worn later.
