What causes children to be irritable

In a family, children’s emotions often affect adults’ emotions. Sometimes adults often quarrel over babies’ problems. Therefore, we should not only pay attention to children’s situations, but also learn to solve problems. For example, what should we do if children are irritable? Regarding children's irritability, today I will explain to you why children are irritable, and what we as parents should do when we encounter children's irritability in the future

1. What is normal baby crying?

Whether they are breastfed or formula-fed, many babies have periodic bouts of fussiness during their first few months, usually in the afternoon or evening. Some babies have fussiness periods so regular you can use them to set the clock! Standard infant crying usually begins at about 2 to 3 weeks, peaks at 6 weeks, and tapers off at 3 to 4 months. On average, it can last between 2 and 4 hours per day. There are various differences in what is considered normal.

How to distinguish normal crying from problematic crying? Normal episodes usually occur at the same time each day and with roughly the same intensity; the baby is content at other times of the day; and can be soothed by the same activities, such as walking, rocking, holding, and frequent feedings. The most common time is in the early evening, just before babies enter their longest sleep period. If you think your baby's fussiness is unusual, have your baby checked by a doctor to rule out medical causes.

2. What causes baby irritability?

In addition to temporary low milk supply, common reasons include oversupply (too much milk), forced nipple removal, diaper rash, thrush, food allergies, nipple confusion, excessive fatigue, overstimulation, loneliness, discomfort, etc. Babies are often fussy during growth spurts.

If you feel uncomfortable when you hear your baby crying, this is a normal hormonal response from your body. 3. How to soothe a fussy baby (there may be overlap between categories) 1. Basic needs a. Breastfeeding b. Burping c. Changing diapers d. Taking off the baby's clothes and checking thoroughly for any prickly places or threads entangled with the baby's toes
