Self-diagnose prostate cancer by comparing symptoms

With the aging of the population and the change in the national dietary structure, the incidence of prostate cancer has also been increasing year by year, causing considerable trouble to patients and their families. Early diagnosis plays an important role in treatment. Male friends can perform some necessary self-tests according to the following symptoms. If multiple symptoms occur at the same time, you should go to the hospital for examination in time to rule out the possibility of prostate cancer:

1. Frequent urination, urgency, and incomplete urination, with increased frequency of nocturia but little urine volume each time;

2. Difficulty in urination. It takes a while to start urinating, which is called urinary hesitation. Then there is weak urination, thin urine stream, interrupted urine flow, prolonged urination, etc. Sometimes even urine retention occurs;

3. Pain or burning sensation during urination. In severe cases, the pain radiates to the perineum and around the anus.

4. Difficulty in erection or pain during ejaculation;

5. Blood in urine or semen;

6. Nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite;

7. Insomnia occurs;

8. Poor mental state, irritable and easily angered;

9. Discomfort in lower abdomen and buttocks;

10. Symptoms include bone pain, anemia, weight loss, fatigue, low-grade fever, weakness, dizziness, shortness of breath, etc.

All men over the age of 45 should have a digital rectal examination once a year. This is extremely important for early diagnosis. For suspected patients, perineal and rectal puncture and biopsy should be performed. The accuracy rate of prostate cancer diagnosis can reach 70% to 80%.
