Why does ovarian teratoma grow

Why does ovarian teratoma grow

Ovarian teratoma is caused by bad living habits, age, genetics, chemical factors, endocrine disorders, etc. It is recommended to seek medical attention in time.

1. Bad habits:

Long-term bad living and eating habits or continuous mental stress can lead to a decrease in the body's immunity, thereby inducing ovarian teratoma.

2. Age:

If a woman is in adolescence and her reproductive organs are in the development stage, they will be affected by external stimuli, which will lead to abnormal differentiation of germ cells and induce ovarian teratoma.

3. Heredity:

If a family member has Klinefelter syndrome or Turner syndrome, which may cause extra or missing sex chromosomes, the risk of developing an ovarian teratoma is increased.

4. Chemical factors:

If patients are frequently exposed to chemicals such as dyes, paints, and plaster powder, it will stimulate the ovaries and cause ovarian teratoma.

5. Endocrine disorders:

The various hormones in the endocrine system and the nervous system can jointly regulate the metabolism and physiological functions of the human body. When endocrine disorders occur, it will lead to excessive secretion of estrogen in the body, leading to ovarian teratoma.

Patients diagnosed with ovarian teratoma can undergo surgical treatments such as lateral adnexectomy, tumor resection, total hysterectomy and bilateral adnexectomy under the guidance of doctors. After the operation, you should stay calm, avoid staying up late, and go to the hospital for regular checkups according to the doctor's advice to observe the recovery of the disease.
