Contraindications

1. The sperm and egg combination is impaired due to fallopian tube factors on the female side.

2. The woman suffers from acute infection of the reproductive and urinary systems or sexually transmitted diseases.

3. The woman suffers from a genetic disease, serious physical illness, or mental or psychological disorder.

4. There is a history of birth of a baby with congenital defects and it is confirmed that it is caused by factors on the female side.

5. The woman has been exposed to teratogenic amounts of radiation, poisons, or drugs and is in the effect period.

6. The woman has bad habits such as alcoholism and drug abuse.

Is artificial insemination good for children?

Based on what we know so far, artificial insemination not only does not reduce the risk of child deformities, but on the contrary increases the risk of fetal deformities. It is recommended that all patients seek professional and regular treatment for the primary disease that causes sperm abnormalities, and try their best to get pregnant normally as soon as possible. Of course, if high-quality sperm is used and professional and scientific treatment techniques are used, there is no need to worry about children conceived through artificial insemination suffering from deformities or mental retardation.
